Performance is part of a music career. A musician is expected to perform at some point in his or her career. A musician’s stage performance counts on his or her music career stability and sustainability. Some musicians hardly get events to play their music because they are not good performers on stage. There have been a lot of musicians with no career at the moment as a result of low stage performance. For example, Ghanaian musician Abena is a good musician and her songs were everywhere, hence Abena was always called for events to perform her songs. If after one or two events, and your performance at those events were below average, people will start talking, consequently, event organizers will stop inviting you for new events.

AMAKYE DEDE is a music legend. Amakye Dede is one of Ghana’s best musicians. He started doing music professionally more than two decades ago, yet still active and performing in almost every event in Ghana. The fact that he is still getting events to perform at after all these years, makes it a fact that he is the best stage performer of all time in Ghana. Amakye Dede has had a very successful career and I think every young musician should approach him and ask how he did it. To stay relevant in Ghanaian music industry for several decades is a big achievement.
SAMINI is my favorite musician of all time. I have been supporting him since he started his music career twenty years ago. Samini is a legend in his field. He is the first Ghanaian musician to win an international award, and this has gone a long way to help other musicians in terms of international appeal. Samini has achieved a lot with his music career. The very thing that sets him of his colleagues is Samini’s ability to identify and nurture talents. Stonebwoy, Kaakie, Kofi Kinaata, etc were all nurtured by Samini. They are all big musicians in Ghana now. Samini is currently a student of GIMPA University. He is the president of the Student representative Union.
WIYAALA is one of Ghana’s best female musicians. She started as a musician at a very young age. Wiyaala is the most underrated female singer in Ghana yet the most successful in the international music industry. She is the best female performer in Ghana. Talk of her style, energy, dance, vocals, etc are all on point anytime she mounts a stage to perform. Wiyaala calls herself the lioness.
A SQUARE is the biggest music group in Ghana, and to an extent Africa. A Square is a group of five namely Kofi, Kwasi, Kwaku, David and Kwabena, who came into the Ghana music industry twenty five years ago. They were one of the best performers any audience could ask for. Their good stage performance enabled them to perform each year at one particular annual event.
AKWABOAH is a perfect example of who a musician is. He has got it all when it comes to music. Akwaboah is also a good stage performer. Akwaboah Junior is the son of one of Ghana’s music icons, Akwaboah.
KOJO ANTWI is a Ghanaian music legend like Amakye Dede. Kojo Antwon is a very good and talented musician, as well as a great performer. He is loved by his age mates and the young generation. Kojo has been doing music for over twenty five years.
